Trapped in between
two elephants
Busy fighting for the
best available deal
While we are like the
ants
Being used as the
tool for bargain
Watching! We watched
as hours begat months
Now some have given
their minds comfort with a seal
Varying from work to
new skills
However, we are not
oblivious of the quality drain
Others have stopped
the big work of day counts
And to some seconds
have run by like bolts feel
Patiently waiting and
slowly wasting
Different people with
different effects of the falling rain
Oh! Everyone seems to
ask for our pity
Although very few are
not in it for the kitty
Hence we continue to
get busy in the cities
As we await the final
whistle from the umpire
Its days to the
festivities of the season
Others ask for the
end to come at the new beginning
While others will
appreciate an abrupt end even in the Xmas eve
In all, we wait for
they that hold the knife and the yam
